Megan and Josh.

Editorial Wedding, Mont Du Soleil.

A beautiful day at Mont du Soleil in Melbourne made for an incredible setting to photograph Meg and Josh.

Mont du Soleil, meaning “hill of the sun,” really lives up to its name. It has a European inspired feel, elevated and open, with a modern architectural style that sits really nicely in the landscape. There’s a simplicity to it that works so well with natural light, where the space doesn’t compete with anything and just lets everything breathe.

The day had a real brightness to it, with strong sun that brought a clean, open feel to the atmosphere. From a photography point of view, it was one of those settings where the light and space work together in a really generous way.

It’s a venue that feels calm and considered, and it really shows why it’s such a beautiful place for a celebration in any season or weather.
